Yasser Rasheed in Egypt Business Directory

Yasser Rasheed was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1969. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University, in July 1991 and received his M.A.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada, in January 1995. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Toronto. Yasser worked as an Electronic Systems Design Engineer at Wisam Company, Egypt, from 1991 to 1993. During the same period, he held a teaching assistantship position at the Department of Engineering Mathematics and Physics, Cairo University. He is currently a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto since September 1993. His research interests include transport of multimedia over IP and ATM networks.
