Since then, licenses have been obtained for the production of new ranges of products in Egypt.. The license from Hunter Douglas for fabrication of Venetian blinds (given in 1948) is the oldest such license worldwide. The license from Hunter Douglas for the fabrication of Luxalon ceilings and claddings was given in 1960. License from Hunter Douglas for all other Luxaflex window-covering products such as rolling shutters, insect screens, vertical blinds, etc. - Agreement with SODIAL for the extrusion of S29 profiles in Egypt in 1981.
